Education is a tool that empowers individuals in all aspects of their
life. It
widens his knowledge, skills,
techniques, and his vision of the world. It makes a child live happily and enhances endurance,
wise-ness,
and peace of mind to face all situations. Real education makes a child a complete and responsible
individual. It also helps in inculcating moral and ethical values. Apart from all these, education
should
make individuals express their complete potential and make them true leaders.
There is no doubt that the development of a country depends on the quality of its educational system.
Adequate investment in the educational domain will help in increasing the efficiency and productivity of
the
manpower. Ultimately, well-educated people help in accelerating the pace of economic development
resulting
in the growth of the country.
Ancient and even the present India is known for its educational brilliance. However, the current Indian
education system is criticized for its failure to create the required leaders for the country concerning
its
development. India’s current education system was introduced by the British colonial government. During
the
colonial period, the foundation of the Indian education system was built up by the Macaulay Minute,
Wood’s
Dispatch, Curzon’s education policy, Sadler’s commission, and so on. There are a lot of challenges being
faced by the Indian education sector that requires immediate attention.
Let us look at a few, primary challenges and how Tattvadarshi SMART Study Program addresses them.
Something characteristic of Indian educational institutions is the neglect
of the
practices like Yoga and
traditional Vedic culture. Studies are mostly focused on providing students with theoretical information
and
the most important for both parents and teachers is that students make high test scores. They usually
neglect
what level of knowledge they got from everything they have learned and their ability to use the
knowledge in
the right way. What is more concerning is, students frequently forget the content of the books and
scripts not
long after passing the exam.
Through the Tattvadarshi SMART study technique, students can complete their whole year's syllabus of
science,
maths, and geography. They will learn a technique to remember it forever. At the end of the program,
students
will be able to demonstrate chapters without seeing the textbook; they will remember, and recollect
their
academic subjects, just like mantras, and can express fluently as and when required. All these things
are
possible in just 30 days and for the rest of the academic year, they can exercise the application of the
knowledge they gained.
The use of technology like mobile television and online platform has caused damage to the memory,
concentration levels, and social behaviour of children. The Foundation has adopted the unique practice
of Yoga
and memory techniques from our tradition. Students will learn Yoga and meditation to improve
concentration and
memory power.
Most of the time, individual teachers are experts in any single subject or they may not be up to the mark or they may lack teaching skills. Many times teachers fail to inspire students in their subjects as they are more interested in the completion of the syllabus, and hardly they give individual attention to students, which affects child’s development. SMART study techniques are self-study methods that make students learn by themselves and help in unveiling their understanding abilities. They support and enhance their learning with a peer group. This process is facilitated by a team of expert acharyas.
Another big problem in the Indian education system is the language that students commonly use while learning. The main focus is on improving English even though it is not the native one. This eventually results in poor numerical skills and local literacy. Furthermore, it also forces students to quit other activities in college like writing essays, for example, as they are usually presented in English instead of the Indian language. It’s a barrier that many understudies hardly break. The SMART program students can learn their subjects in their native language. It is more effective than doing it in English. This is a big breakthrough in the system.
There is no doubt that the learning process, as well as the entire
schooling period,
can sometimes be
stressful. It can be positive for students to learn to cope with tense situations. However, Indian
educators
often go over the line and put them under pressure that they can’t handle. In a consistently futile
daily
existence to score and perform better, understudies regularly become worried and troubled. It
additionally
adds to genuine misfortunes like suicides and mental issues.
SMART study methods are taught in playful methods where students start enjoying their studies. Camp also
includes every day Yoga sessions, meditation, pranayama, bhajans, dances, games, adventures, and nature
walks.
The camp is designed to make a complete child.
